SMT Placement

Excellence in SMT is our core competency and supports much of our manufacturing activity. In-house facilities permit the manufacture of both leaded and lead-free (RoHS compliant) product. ZYTEQ has the ability to place all types of component packages including BGA devices. Automated Optical Inspection equipment checks and monitors component placement and solder quality.

Through Hole Assembly

ZYTEQ offers TH or conventional PCB assembly services for both RoHS compliant and legacy, leaded product. This capability can be utilised at all levels from the initial production of very low volume, rapid prototype products through to the on-going manufacture of complex, multi-technology PCB assemblies.

Product Integration

Integration (Final Product Assembly) is another key service offering. As we offer the full service we require a wide range of skill sets, such as highly trained and skilled operators with a fine eye for detail and a passion for getting it right. Not only are we capable of building individual products, but many of our customers applications require the build of multiple units, and the configuration of these individual units to form systems. These are configured to the individual requirements of each contract or sales order. It’s also the area where we can add the most value to our customers by managing the entire manufacturing process from start to finish. This is truly the activity at which we excel.

Selective Conformal Coating

Conformal coating material is applied to electronic circuitry to act as protection against moisture, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes that, if uncoated (non-protected), could result in damage or failure of the electronics to function. When electronics must withstand harsh environments and added protection is necessary.

Board Washing (PCB)

Various steps of the manufacturing process leave residue on the board. Soldering leaves a small amount of flux on the board. Over a period of months this flux residue becomes sticky, and can become slightly acidic leading to a weakening of solder joints. To prevent this we wash every board we produce.

Reflow, Wave & Hand Soldering

ZYTEQ have the capability to process lead and lead-free reflow, wave and hand soldered products. Strict control procedures eliminate any contamination risks.
